Can LinkedIn Articles Improve AI Visibility? What We Learned from Sauce Labs

Key Takeaways:

  • LinkedIn Articles can support AI Visibility by giving brands and executives space to answer the questions buyers are asking AI platforms.
  • Effective AI optimization starts with audience intent, using real buyer questions to create clear, authoritative, and relevant content.
  • LinkedIn content can drive both social engagement and AI Visibility. Sauce Labs’ article generated more than 22,000 impressions while becoming the #4 LinkedIn source used by LLMs within six days, according to SE Ranking.

The way buyers research companies and solutions are evolving. Search engines and social media still play an important role, but buyers are increasingly turning to AI platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity to ask questions, compare options, and learn about potential solutions.

For marketers, that creates a new consideration. It’s no longer just about whether people can find and engage with your content. You need to also consider whether AI platforms can find, understand, and reference your brand’s expertise when answering relevant questions.

At 10Fold, we’ve been exploring how LinkedIn Articles can support AI Visibility and Artificial Intelligence Optimization (AIO), helping brands increase their opportunity to appear in the AI-generated answers their audiences are using for research.

Our work with our client Sauce Labs offers a real-world example. As part of the executive LinkedIn program for CEO Dr. Prince Kohli, we developed a LinkedIn Article around questions potential buyers were asking AI about Sauce Labs AURA. Within just six days, SE Ranking identified the article as the #4 LinkedIn source being used by Large Language Models (LLMs), with the article surfacing as a source across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.

Can LinkedIn Articles improve AI Visibility?

LinkedIn Articles can give brands and executives a way to publish detailed, authoritative content around the same questions their audiences are asking AI platforms.

AI Visibility refers to whether and how a company or its expertise appears when someone asks an AI platform a relevant question. As tools like ChatGPT become another part of the research process, marketers have an opportunity to create content that helps inform those answers.

LinkedIn Articles are particularly interesting because they provide more space than a traditional social post to explain complex topics, answer specific questions, and demonstrate expertise. That makes it possible to structure content around the information an audience is actively looking for rather than simply promoting a brand or product.

The goal is content that works for two audiences at once: people looking for credible, useful information and the AI platforms generating answers for them.

How do you optimize LinkedIn Articles for AI search?

Optimizing LinkedIn Articles for AI search starts with the questions your prospects are asking, not simply the topics your brand wants to promote.

Start by identifying the questions that matter to your buyers. AI Visibility tools, Google Search Console data, existing search behavior, customer conversations, and other sources of audience insights can help identify the topics and questions worth targeting.

Look at the answers and sources AI platforms are already providing for those questions. This can help identify where your brand has expertise or a perspective that isn’t currently represented. Researching related conversations on LinkedIn can also help ensure the topic is relevant to the people who will encounter the article on social media.

From there, make the content easy to understand. Use clear headlines, question-based sections, direct answers, and relevant terminology. Most importantly, add something original. Executive expertise, firsthand experience, and differentiated points of view can make the content more useful than simply repeating information that already exists.

For Sauce Labs, 10Fold started with questions potential buyers might ask about Sauce Labs AURA, including:

  • “What is Sauce Labs AURA and what does it actually do?”
  • “Is Sauce Labs AURA worth the cost — what’s the ROI and total cost of ownership?”

Those questions became the foundation for an article that combined Sauce Labs messaging with Dr. Kohli’s expertise and point of view.

How quickly can LinkedIn Articles appear in AI-generated answers?

Our work with Sauce Labs showed that it can happen quickly — in this case, within six days.

10Fold developed ‘Introducing Sauce Labs AURA: The Cursor Moment for AI Code Verification Is Here’ for Dr. Kohli and published the article on July 22, 2026.

By July 28, just six days after publication, SE Ranking identified Dr. Kohli’s article as the #4 LinkedIn source being used by LLMs. The article was also surfacing as a source across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.

At the same time, the article performed on LinkedIn:

  • 22,504 impressions
  • 398 article views
  • 317 social engagements
  • #4 LinkedIn source being used by LLMs within six days, according to SE Ranking

The results highlight an important opportunity for marketers: content created for AI Visibility doesn’t have to come at the expense of traditional social performance. One piece of executive thought leadership can engage an audience on LinkedIn while also increasing the opportunity for a brand’s expertise to appear in AI-generated answers.

How should marketers incorporate LinkedIn Articles into their AI Visibility strategy?

AI Visibility doesn’t need to be an entirely separate content program. It can become another consideration within the content and executive thought leadership strategies marketers already have in place.

Start by identifying the questions prospects are asking AI about your company, solutions, and industry. Then look at where your executives have the expertise to provide useful answers and perspectives.

From there, develop LinkedIn Articles that directly address those questions while offering information AI platforms can’t get from generic brand messaging alone. And don’t stop measuring at impressions and engagement. Track whether your content and brand are also appearing when priority questions are asked across AI platforms.

As AI becomes a larger part of the research process, the question marketers ask before publishing content should evolve.

Instead of only asking, “Will people engage with this?” we should also be asking: “Could this content help answer the questions our buyers are asking AI?”

The Sauce Labs results offer an early look at what can happen when those two goals come together. LinkedIn thought leadership can still build credibility and engagement with human audiences, while also creating another path for your brand’s expertise to be discovered through AI.
