What is something you have learned this past year at 10Fold that has aided your success?
The art of the pivot! Much like the iconic Friends scene, I’ve learned the best ways to evaluate the success of a pitch and when it’s time to think of a new, fresh angle that will appeal to reporters. The cybersecurity world moves fast, so you have to be able to stay on your toes and move in the direction of the news.
What do you hope to learn in the next year?
I want to continue to learn and grow as the editorial lead on my accounts. From continuing to bring in business and broadcast press to leading the rest of my team’s editorial endeavors, I want to make sure that both the client and our team has what they need to achieve their idea of success.
What was your favorite team activity in the last year?
My favorite team activity from the last year was going sailing with the entire security team in San Diego! We don’t get to all be in the same place often, but it’s always the perfect time to brainstorm as a team (while also having some fun).
What was your favorite accomplishment you had with a client over the last year?
My proudest moment from the last year was securing a broadcast interview for a client within 48-hours of being added to the account specifically to secure broadcast segments.
