In the Fold – Mark Button

What is something you have learned this past year at 10Fold that has aided your success?

Wait… What? A year passed already. Whoosh. That was 2024. Gone in the blink of an eye. What have I learned this past year at 10Fold that has aided my success? Patience leaps to mind. As clients and agencies seek to navigate an ever evolving media landscape, we’ve had to show patience as the stars realign around new data tools, new content measures, new skills to disseminate important elements from a wealth of captured information. This will also be required in 2025 as social media platforms seem to be rolling back fact checking. The onus falls on us as professional communicators to ensure we continue to do due diligence on sources.

What is one of your goals for this next year?

My big hope is to encourage clients to continue to be more inclusive. With AI and data analysis becoming more central to organizational operations, 10Fold as an expert resource can take some of the burden from clients to drive communications, content generation and expand exposure. Bringing us to the table early gears up more effectively for success. As an external lens, we can add value around messaging, what is of value to the media, and hone campaigns accordingly.

What was your favorite team activity in the last year?

The offsite in Austin was really great. Meeting the team in one place was excellent. Smart people, lovely vibes, all round goodness.

What was your favorite accomplishment you had with a client over the last year?

Looking back, I’d have to say working with the team to realign clients following significant high level changes on the client side. Having the knowledge and flexibility to absorb changes and continue to deliver on metrics makes me happy!
