“In the Fold” – Kim Diesel

What is something you have learned this past year at 10Fold that has aided your success?

There is more than one way to solve a problem. I have learned a lot by pushing myself to think about the diverse ways to approach and solve a challenge, versus going with the answer that came to me first.

What was your favorite team activity last year?

The San Diego office volunteered with Friends of Balboa Park to help clean and polish the carousel, which was built in 1910!

What was your favorite accomplishment you had with a client over the last year?

The security practice has been growing a lot over the last year and seeing success in the first 90 days is crucial for building trust with new clients. I have learned just how important it is to connect 1:1 with clients to get early feedback and learn more about their goals for the quarter, year and beyond, so we can make sure our program and strategy are aligned with achieving the meaningful results that make our client contacts look good.

What do you hope to learn in the next year?

As the practice grows, I expect to learn a lot about how to scale without sacrificing client satisfaction. I look forward to learning about the most meaningful ways to show up for my direct reports, my teams and my clients.
