In the Fold – Grace LaFountain

What is something you have learned this past year at 10Fold that has aided your success?
Smart brevity! I recently read the book by Axios co-founders, Jim VandeHei, Mike Allen, and Roy
Schwartz, which emphasized the importance of saying more with less, in any format or context.
This is a soft skill we tend to pass over, but one that reaps serious rewards. By being concise and
direct in my communications, I’ve been able to capture attention more effectively, ensure my
messages are understood, and facilitate quicker decision-making.

What do you hope to learn in the next year?
In the next year, I really want to get my hands dirty with the new business projects and learn
more about the sales side of things at 10Fold. I’ve always been curious about how projects come
to life and what happens behind the scenes.

What was your favorite team activity in the last year?
I LOVED our digital offsite in Austin last spring! It was great to see the team in person as we work
in different offices and are typically spread across different accounts. We were able to share new
ideas, what’s working for different clients, in different industries, and analyze opportunities for
growth. All in my new city! I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention my move from Boston > Austin this
year! So happy 10Fold gave me the opportunity to live in such a great city (where I
haven’t had to defrost my car once!)

What was your favorite accomplishment you had with a client over the last year?
Managing my first influencer campaign from start to finish was incredibly rewarding as I finally
achieved a goal that had been mine for a while. This accomplishment demonstrated my
capability to strategize, execute, and deliver impactful results, marking a significant milestone in
my growth within the digital team.
